    A beautiful story that was written so well, I felt as though I lived every moment. There were tears, both happy and sad, but perhaps I’m just emotional! 5 stars.

    From the name, I thought it would be a fairly lightweight read but I was so pleasantly surprised with the depth of content and research of the subjects. I really think it deserves a far better name it is a wonderful read.

    I cannot praise this book enough! The amount of research put into this novel is incredible. I wanted to be transported to this time with Evie. She was such a strong protagonist, as were all of Evie's friends and Mrs Whitman. I adore Thomas as a character and the love between the two seemed so real. Thank you Natasha Lester for a heart breaking and inspiring read. Loved it, loved it, loved it!
