    Loved it. Always loved nike as a brand and felt great wearing it. Never knew any of the story behind it. What a great read. I bought asics last time. Now I want nikes again thats how inspirational this book was to read.

    This book popped up in my recommended reads a number of times and every time I thought not for me and I'm a massive Nike fan. It was the best book I've ever read and I'm a minimum of 2 books a month kind of girl. As a 32 year old self employed (small business) female I never expected I would be able to relate to such an iconic brand and the legend that is Phil Knight. I learnt some extremely valuable lessons, laughed out loud and he even had me crying. Thank you Mr Knight for taking the time to share your story, changing my attitude about many topics, curing my anxiety and for regularly increasing my shoe wardrobe.

    This memoir is breathtaking. Knight details the early days of Nike in detail. Each chapter is organised by year and each on its own is like watching a movie -- tons of drama, action, and vivid emotions. The journey of Nike takes us back in time. It tells us how the world looked in the 70s and 80s, how business was done, where goods were produced and why. All this is fascinating. While this isn't really a business book, it tells us a lot about what is necessary to build a winning business. People with drive, innovation, fearlessness & courage, a great team, and lots of luck. This is a great read. Bill Gates named it among his top books for 2016. And after reading it I see why. I place this book right alongside Creativity Inc. by Ed Catmull (which tells the Pixar story).

    I loved this book, I honestly never read books but I love insights into driven men's lives. He seemed pretty honest to me and didn't gloss over the stuff he believed he could have done better. Read it in one day Loved it.

    I love biographies and I love this brand, so was always going to be an interesting read. But it was more than I expected. A great and inspiring journey, many lessons all can take on the road to success. Well worth it.

    Being a Nike fanatic I simply had to read this book. And I don't normally invest time in reading. From the outset I was hooked! I'm not sure whether it was the unveiling of a history I feel a part of or if it was the way in which Phil introduces a character. I felt like I was there. Like it was happening with every page I read. Like I was actually a part of this. Past halfway and I didn't want it to end. Nearing 100 pages to go and I felt separation issues. I don't want the story to end. Now it's done. The journey is told and I'm thankful. This is a must read
