    This book had so much hype surrounding it - I kept reading hoping it would get better. It was good in parts, but overall found it cheesy and trite. Picked the twist from the beginning.

    Enjoyable read about quirky Eleanor Oliphant. Eleanor, having obviously had a tough life, is very naive and detached, but she unexpectedly makes a friend who pushes her and teaches her more about life and people. It was very well written, had a great twist and a good ending.

    I loved this heartwarming tale of courage which was also funny and witty and really quite sad in places. Eleanor’s observations on people and life beyond her own loneliness and seclusion were very refreshing. I literally couldnt put it down and was almost proud of how far she’d come by the end of the book. I would highly recommend.

    I loved this book, I don’t read much so for my to finish a book in under a week is something! The book is an unusual tale of survival after an abusive childhood but does not dwell on the child but rather the adult she has become as a result. Can’t wait for the next book from this author, or even better, a sequel!!
