  • Yet another 5 star read

    Dr Neuro where do I start, well first off this dynamic duo has one again given us a 5 star read. This is the third and final book in the St Luke's Docuseries and I'm sad to see it come to an end but they certainly ended the series on a high. Nick Raines is Dr Neuro and we have heard of him in prior books, he is the formally absent father of Winnie's amazing daughter Lexi, he is now determined to be the father Lexi deserves and love or relationships are not in his future, that is until he meets Charlotte who has been sent to head hunt him for a hospital on the West Coast. Charlotte is a fun easy going type of girl and she didn't think she was interested in a relationship until she met the hot doctor she was meant to be convincing to move across the country. This book is about Nick and Charlotte getting to know each other, it's a love story with a few twists and turns and off course it has the humour that we have come to expect from the duo of Max Monroe. Once again the amazing Lexi has some brilliant one liners and I found myself wanting more from her, Nick and Charlotte are easy to love you have a dad putting his little girl before everything and a woman who understands that's how it has to be and she wouldn't have it any other way. I loved how throughout this book there were snippets from characters I have come to love from previous books. Sad to see it end but as I said before Max Monroe has ended this series with a bang. I wonder what this duo has in store for us next, they are certainly going from strength to strength with their books.
