  • Why offer only 2 books in a trilogy?

    The books, story line and author are fine. However for some reason book 2 of the trilogy is not available for purchase via iTunes, Australia. Book 2 is available via iTunes, US. What is the point of offering only 2 books in a trilogy? I'm not interested in the audio book version, nor can I read it in another language. If I could buy the thing via the US site it wouldn't be a problem, but no, can't do that either. Circles me back to the Aus site. Good one Apple. I don't want to buy the Kindle version or hardcover. Get with the program guys.

    After reading other reviews I looked forward to reading this book. I hated it from the start, the violence and gratuitous murder were sick reading. The story line is so far fetched it could not be believed. I struggled on hoping for some light. However I stopped reading when the first people started. Absolute rubbish. I am sorry I wasted my money.

    I loved this book. From the humanity and warmth of the characters, despite their bleak setting, to the emotional and eventful and extraordinary circumstances of their story, every page is gold. I cried quite a few times while reading it - it's not for the faint hearted, but ultimately it's a work of beautiful craftsmanship and a visual feast.

    Loved this book. A long interesting saga about not only a specific group of people but also the implications of 'science' in the wrong hands. Will be buying 'The Twelve'.

    I am in love with this book, i borrowed it from a library and within the first couple of chapters i had decided to buy it, its the largest book i've read and definatly worth the sore wrists, this book make you think and i love the way he recreates the idea of the normal "monster/vampire", it is a fresh mind with a great idea and i cannot wait for the sequal.

    This book, I could honestly not put down. It had everything that a reader needs to keep her glued to the pages, all kinds of love, action, thrill.......The character's were brilliant Each page just building to the pace of the story!!!! So, so cleverly written!!! Loved it & highly recommend it!!! A must read! I can honestly say - thanks for the sleepless nights, cause I just didn't want to put it down!!! This book is a credit to you both!!! Love that it was a father & daughter effort!! Well done!!!

    Great book. I now understand it's the first of a trillogy set to be released over the next few years. I don't read much but i read this and i am now waiting impatiently for the sequels.
