I've read this book many times and never tire of it. Engaging and beautifully written.
Brilliantly told, I couldn't put it down. Better to have read it now, as an adult, than when I gave up because of the language, as a child.
Have always wanted to read this classic and found I just couldn't put it down after I downloaded it. I am in love with this book and it has inspired me to read some more classics. I am sorry to have finished it!

What a powerful love story. Love and pain is captured so wonderfully. A romance that is both is fire and ice.
Definitely not a typical romance.
A fantastic book. But i think the reviewer before me, may be in for a bit of a shock. It is a grim haunting tale, about unrequited undying love. And how badly people can treat each other. Very tough affecting novel. But a tremendous one, none the less.
I have only before heard about this book. I have been told that this book is an incredible romance, a beautiful novel and what's more, a lesson in love. Whether or not this is true, I will tell you soon :-)
