    I'm going to try not to ruin the story and spoil it for anyone. This book was absolutely wonderful! Once I started reading it, I could not put it down even at odd hours of the night because that's how captivating it all is. It is an amazing love story & it makes you wish you had something like that too. Has to be my favourite book

    It is not that it was poorly written, but to me it was watching paint dry boring. After reading this story i was uninspired, unsatisfied, and deflated.

    Does Nicholas Sparks have some kind of martyr-complex? The characters are superficially drawn and hard to relate to because of their stereotypical nature. The ending was obvious from about the third chapter (earlier, if you know anything else written by him) and the whole book (I can't bear to call it a novel) seemed like it was it together like a bookshelf from Ikea. I'm embarrassed to call it disappointing, because I should have known better than to expect anything else.

    I always enjoy the easy reading of a Nicholas Sparks book even if you can guess the way the plot will run. His easy style of writing is great to enjoy for the times you want a book that does not require deep concentration. His books always give you a smile as well as a tear (more often the tear) but the romance contained in them always conveys warmth.

    Highly recommend, a must read keeps you interested and wanting more. Was unable to put down. Was not expecting the ending but kind of predictable as I got closer to it. As always am impressed by this author. Nicholas sparks waiting and wanting more can't wait for a new novel to indulge inn.
