    Truth be told I started reading the book because Michael Fassbender is in the movie but once I started I couldn't put it down. All the characters are like real people you might know. Every anecdotal glimpse into their lives was crafted so you could feel it, not just read it. Thank you ML Stedman.

    This book is well written and priced. I could not wait to finish work and to race back to my room to read it. I haven't seen the movie and would like to keep the writers real story in place just in case.

    Really great first half, characters are alive and fascinating and the back stories are vivid and heart wrenching then the third quarter was grey and confusing leading into a disappointing last quarter and a sense of longing for what the book could've been and where is my closure?
