    I thought the first book is this trilogy was captivating, but this 2nd book in the series excels even that. The author truly brings the past to life with cleverly woven 😉 storylines. Loved it very much and looking forward to the continuation of the tale from this satisfactory intermission.

    Amazing! I don't know how Deborah does it. This wonderful second book about Diana and Matthew will enthrall you. I couldn't put it down and then started to fret when I knew I was near the end. I can't wait for the third and final in the series. I hope Deborah continues to write many more books to come.

    I can't put this book down because I won't to know desperately what happens, but I think she has dragged it out to much and some parts are really really boring. The first book was very well done and exciting I just wish the second followed, I had really good expectations for this book. I hope she does a better job on the third!

    I am not one to usually review or give feedback on novels, however this book was absolute brilliance. A perfect "weave" between the present and past, all intertwining into a fantastically vivid tale. This book has curbed my curiosity into wondering if I to can write such a novel one day. Cannot wait until the next book is released..(which I hope will be soon) Thank you Deborah Harkness for making the impossible become such an intense vision of what I would, in my hours of alone, wish were all so real.     These books kept me enthralled day in and day out, I loved them, to have the ability to time travel and see such sights good and bad would be amazing and this book let me see it all. Thank you Deborah you have the most amazing ability to let the reader see it all as though you are partaking in the adventures to.
