    I found the way the boom was written really hard to read and enjoy. I couldn't connect with the characters and the story line wasn't believable. I couldn't even finish it. Not worth reading.

    The reviews are misleading, which was sadly the only reason I read this. The author may have fooled many cheesy teens but have not fooled those with a good grasp in literature. I felt like the author compacted too much into one book, and thus making it appear rushed and difficult to follow. The characters were shallow and the storyline was all over the place. This book could have been split into two books - (1) The main character returning and re-adjusting to her previous life with a new partner and (2) Nikias returning into her life. Sentences were too simplistic. I.e.: "He did this", "He was that", "I felt this". Could there be more emotions used to capture the heart of the audience? Last thing I wish to add: One can only handle a character like Nikius for a certain amount of time before he becomes irritative. The author failed to stop before it got to that stage.

    Wow, this author has absolutely no clue about dialogue grammar, punctuation and paragraphing. The writing was not artistic at all and the story fell flat. Books of this quality should never have been published.
