  • Worthwhile for a first

    Believable is the first thing that comes to my mind when reading this novel. Not far fetched or out of the ordianry but true to form & the characters just like you & me doing their job. A little passion added to the mix makes for a lighter outlook on human traits, however this theme was left open for hopefully the next novel in this series. Well done.

    It may be a little predictable but there's enough twists in this novel to keep you interested. A good crime drama for a first novel and definitely worth a read.

    I also have had to give up a lifetime of working and spend a lot of time reading, mostly crime. I heartily applaud you , this book was gripping and kept me up all night to get to the end. One of the best reads I've had in a long time and I'm very much looking forward to book 2 and more of Lexie's adventures!
