    I did tear up a few times which was embarrassing for me hahaha the main character was immensely likeable in the fact that even though she would get upset she wouldn't let it get her down for long, a very enjoyable read and quick to get to the point

    If you like fanfic with OCs then give this a try. The self depreciating humour is enjoyable but the plot could have done with a decent editor. For example, I still don't know what happened to those apple pies that were in the oven when the power went out. Don't expect any surprises, just go along for the ride.
