    I kept waiting for the plot to build but it remained fairly unsuspenseful throughout. Was definitely not a page turner.

    This book was awesomely original and written with such a strong sense of mystery and anticipation, that I couldn't put it down once I started. There is a very strong romance element to this but (thankgod) the plot doesn't solely rely on this aspect alone. At its heart, it explores a very simple concept and the magnitude of its consequences. The characters could have very easily fallen into the traps of being stereotypical or cliché but this was avoided and in its stead we have a group of different and 3 dimensional characters. The mix of phycology, Sci-fi, romance and fantasy has blended brilliantly. So glad I picked this book up and can't wait for the series to continue.
