  • A dictionary of acronyms!

    This book is a testament to the American love of acronyms. I gave up trying to remember what they all stood for and had no idea there were so many security agencies in the American military. The plot was trite (there is actually a part where they have less than a minute to choose which wire to cut on an incendiary device, and Thank Goodness! chose the correct one or the Pentagon would have become an ebola nursery!) What rot. Made it to the end, but won't be reading John Puller any more. Far fetched as poo from China, as my grandma used to say!

    Certainly a difficult book to put down! To me it seemed to lag in the middle but once the pace picked up again it was non stop action all the way. In John Puller, we have another Jack Reacher clearly identified.

    This book grabs you by the scruff of the neck and takes you with it, from the very first page. The ending could have been a bit more romantic, but it leaves lots of options for further books. Enjoyed immensely.
