    This is the first book in a set of seven. The book is a wonderful story about an adoptive daughter looking to find her personal history. The author has cleverly woven historical events and tied together events in both Brazil and Europe. I look forward to reading the following stories in this series.

    Fantastic. Can't wait to read the rest. Have always been fascinated by 'Christ the Redeemer' statue so especially enjoyed.

    It was such a joy to read this book, pleasantly written and it took me to Paris and Brazil in the 1920 back to Geneva in 2007. Can't wait to read the other instalments of this series.
  • Brilliant start to a series

    Simply could not put this book down. Great read the author gives you clues if your are adept enough to pick up on them. From Switzerland to Rio and the building of Christ the Redeemer you get a history lesson along the way. I have read the follow up book The Storm Sister and the third in the series is due out late October 2016. I really like this author she has the ability to transport you to the place and time of the story and doesn't let go until the last page. Each book is about one of the sisters. Thoroughly recommend the read, you won't be disappointed. 👍👍👍 Her other stand alone books are fabulous as well.
