I vow to you that I will always speak up if I were to ever come across and have a child speak up to me and tell me of the abuse they were receiving. You have made an impact on me Katherine.     A book that was so hard to put down. Such an amazingly sad real life story of abuse and a welfare system that was a complete failure. It makes me wonder about some of our missing Australian children and if they are suffering terribly with sick adults behind closed doors.

    Great well written book,Katherine what a a lot of courage you have to express everything had me in tears, heard this lady talk with Neil Mitchell only a few weeks ago and had to read her story.

    Thank you for sharing your story it was amazing. I felt for you your brothers and your sons. I remember the 70s,80s and 90s when no one cared about us or our children. I was a young mother living in alcohol fuelled life. I was the one that copped it but I never drunk I still don't to this day. I love all my 5 children who adults now.
