    I loved this 3 book series and couldn't put it down. The characters were likeable and it felt like I was totally apart of the book. A great storyline to escape from the world.

    What a refreshing series with diverse characters in a setting that leaves the reader not knowing exactly where it is set, but somewhere familiar. There's a little something for everyone, as if the author has taken a little piece from every fantasy, fairytale, Hollywood blockbuster and real life adventures, then melded them together to create an unusually, (though familiar), original storyline. Throw in some well known parallel characters from different stories and movies, a little bit of romance (without the nauseating fine details) and the air of mystery that prevents the reader from actually pinpointing anything in time....and voila! I thoroughly enjoyed the first instalments and look forwards in eager anticipation to engrossing myself in the rest of the series. I wouldn't be surprised if this become a sensational series on the big screen.
